MMMmmmm. I love me some Sin City. To be honest I liked the graphic novels more than I liked the movie, which is weird because the movie was really true to Frank Miller’s work. Like tremendously true, almost to a fault.
I also love Dwight as a character but Clive Owen just didn’t feel like the right fit for me. Almost every other character felt just right – except Jessica Alba who plays a stripper that doesn’t take her top off… really?
Huge kudos to Mickey Rourke who killed it as Marv, my other favorite Sin City character. Good news Marv is back. Bad news, Nancy Callahan still isn’t going to take her top off. Better news, Dwight will be played by Josh Brolin, sweet! And… it makes sense to some degree because Dwight has different faces between this story and the last (kind of a spoiler). Lady Gaga is listed in the cast, whuh?
